Accessibility statement

Accessibility

Our commitment

Accessibility is part of what we sell. It's also how we build our own site.

We've designed and built digitalleaders.je to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We treat full conformance not "mostly" as the bar.

What this means in practice

  • The site uses semantic HTML throughout, with one <h1> per page and a logical heading order.
  • Every page has a "skip to main content" link as the first focusable element.
  • All interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator (3:1 contrast minimum against adjacent colours).
  • Body text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background; UI components and large text meet 3:1.
  • All images have alternative text, or are marked as decorative.
  • All form inputs have associated labels, and validation errors are announced to assistive technology.
  • Animations respect the operating-system prefers-reduced-motion setting.

Tested with

  • NVDA on Windows
  • VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
  • Keyboard-only navigation (no mouse)
  • 400% browser zoom in Chrome and Safari
  • Automated checks via axe-core in our build pipeline

Known issues

We aim to fix any conformance issues within ten working days. If you find a problem, please email us at hello@digitalleaders.je and we'll address it.
