Working direct

Most consultancies sell you the senior partner and deliver you the graduate scheme. That's not how we work.

Every engagement is led by the named consultant on the proposal usually Marcus, occasionally Tom or Geraldine for specialist work and that's the person who shows up on the day, picks up the phone, and writes the report. There's no offshore team, no "delivery resource," and no margin built in to cover the layers above.

It's a smaller commercial model than the big firms can run, and it suits the kind of work we do: focused, time-boxed, and accountable to the person paying for it.

Where we work

We're based in Jersey and most of our work is for Jersey-based organisations government, regulators, financial services, third sector. We also take on UK and international engagements, particularly around digital identity and learning programmes for distributed organisations.

How we work

We prefer fixed-price engagements with clearly scoped deliverables. We're happy with day-rate work where the brief genuinely can't be defined upfront, but we'll usually push to scope it tighter it's better for both sides.

We share the working, not just the deck. If we've audited something, you get the raw findings. If we've shaped a strategy, you get the workshops, the alternatives we considered, and the reasoning behind what we recommended. The deliverable is yours to own, modify, and challenge.

Marcus Ferbrache leads the practice. Tom Bryant joins us for learning and leadership work. Geraldine Cardwell leads UX and accessibility engagements, and is the independent reviewer on every public-sector site we touch.
